The only negative is that it’s a little removed from the rest of Key West. But then again the island isn’t that big (only 2 x 4 miles). – 2 Star Hotel with rooms starting in the $110’s.

Banana Bay Resort and Marina – This quiet out of the way beachfront beauty is just what the doctor ordered. Offering excellent friendly service, comfortable rooms, small but private beach and oh, one more thing, it’s an exclusively adult hotel which means no children, sorry. – 3 Star Hotel with rooms starting in the $160’s.Cheap & Tasty Restaurants In Key WestBlue Heaven – Located at 729 Thomas Street, this wonderful piece of heaven offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And let me tell you, they don’t call it “heaven” for nothing. Besides the fact that they are one of Key West’s most popular restaurants, they were also listed as the #1 Restaurant in the U.S. by Yahoo! Travel.MR. Z’s – Located at 501 Southard Street, they offer excellent pizza with delicious sauce and have also been hailed as one of the best places for Philly cheese steaks outside of Philadelphia. Oh, and did I mention that it’s cheap too!Cheap Shopping In Key WestHalf Buck Freddies – This little shop of souvenir magic is a bargain buyer’s paradise. Located at 726 Caroline Street, they sell everything from t-shirts to coffee mugs and everything in-between. Half Buck Freddies also has a parent store called Fast Buck Freddies located at 500 Duval Street; it’s a little more on the expensive side, but still a fun place to shop.

Cheap & Popular Attractions In Key WestFlorida Key’s Eco-Discovery Center – This is another great place to visit with the whole family. Located near the entrance to Fort Zachery Taylor, they offer interactive exhibits that present land and marine life in a whole new light. And best thing of all, it’s FREE!Key West Shipwreck Historeum – This is a must for all you pirates or treasure hunters out there. Located at 1 Whitehead Street, it features live actors and artifacts that represent a time when salvaging shipwrecked vessels was the main source of income for Key Westerners.
